Born in the year 1922, Dr.S.V.Job had an outstanding academic record, winning the Caithness Gold Medal for Post-Graduates Degree in Zoology from the University of Madras.

Winning the Vincent Masey Award, he did his research in the Department of Zoology, University of Toronto, Canada, and received his PHD degree. Thereafter, he was engaged in teaching and research and twenty-four students, whom he guided, received their PHD degree.

In His own inimitable and gracious manner, Dr.S.V.Job does not put much stock on his academic achievements. His longing and present tireless labours are to win eternal souls and bring them to the Lord. In this, he says, he has “found fullness of Life” in Jesus.
